How do I look after my mattress?
We recommend airing a newly purchased mattress for 24 hours or as long as you are able to, before using. This can be done by removing the bag and leaving the mattress in a well-ventilated room prior to putting any sheets on.
We recommend turning and rotating your mattress every 2-3 weeks in the first 6 months, and then once every 3-4 months after this (one sided mattresses do not need to be turned). This helps your mattress settle evenly across the sleeping surface and prolongs the life of your bed.
Should I use a mattress protector?
We recommend using a mattress protector to keep it safe from any spillages or stains.
Which base should I use with my mattress?
Our pocket sprung mattresses are suitable for use on any of our divan and ottoman bases. We do not recommend placing our pocket sprung mattresses on slatted bases with gaps larger than 2 inches, as this can damage the integrity of the spring units, due to the lack of support.
